In a couple of weeks time I will be hopping on a plane and heading over to the city of Bristol in the UK for the BBC Bristol Food Connections. Hundreds of people will come together to celebrate Bristol’s diverse food culture and community with a unique, citywide food festival. It’s so exciting to see all of these amazing festivals focusing on local producers and amazing food, popping up all over the world! Speaking of amazing food festivals, have you got your tickets for the Ballymaloe LitFest?
All of the events are free which is brilliant but some of the demos are ticketed due to demand. Free tickets for the ticketed demos are only available until Sun 13th so you better be quick! The organisers really want to focus on engaging families and children in fun, nutritious food and cooking together so the schedule is jam packed with exciting talks and kid friendly demos.
I will be cooking up a storm with all of those aspiring, up and coming foodies aka the kids in the audience so if you have any little chefs in your life, book a free ticket here and come along on the day. Audience participation is a must! Hopefully I will see some of you there!
