My Top 8 Youtube Food Stars…

Salted-Caramel-Torte

Each week I have been sharing a new video from my Homecooked Bakery series on my youtube channel and I've loved reading the comments about how you have all got on with each recipe. This week is a recipe for all those chocolate lovers out there! My Salted Peanut Caramel Mud Pie which you can check out below.

I’ve been getting lots of inspiration from the amazingly talented cooks and bakers that upload great videos and recipes every week to youtube and I thought I would share some of my favourite Youtube food stars with you! I would love to hear what Youtube foodies you follow too, leave me a comment below. Each youtuber brings something different and unique to the youtube world and I love checking in to see what they have uploaded each week.

Here’s a list of my Top 8 Youtube Food Stars:

Jamie Oliver: Jamie Oliver is the don of food on YouTube! Last year he launched FoodTube and has been filling it full of great recipes and new rising food stars. He is all about beautiful recipes, expert tutorials, fresh talent, wonderful food and funny videos uploaded every week. All that and you get a great insight into Jamie’s food world!

Lovely Lady Cakes: Anna Boling O’Steen is a lady who likes to bake sweet treats, cakes, pies, bars and desserts for all of her friends and family. Her fun and quirky youtube videos are created to help viewers learn, interact and enjoy cooking as much as she does! She has some great baking recipes, make sure to check them out.

My Virgin Kitchen: Barry Lewis is a father of two and a super home cook! His channel tracks his culinary journey right from the beginning! It all started in 2010 when he was watching a cooking show and realised that he couldn't cook a thing. Barry thought one way of trying to motivate himself to learn (and to help inspire others) was to pick up a camera and film the journey and it is all there to see on his channel! With videos showing how to make giant rolo’s and homemade feraro roche’s, Barry’s infectious enthusiasm will have you hooked!

Cupcake Jemma: Prepare yourself for lots of fun, cake baking and decorating videos with some cool one-off cakes thrown into the mix! Cupcake Jemma's channel is full of droolworthy recipes that are nice and simple to follow. Jemma says the world needs cake and buttercream and I couldn't agree more! This lady is all kinds of cool!

SORTED Food: These Sorted Food dudes have become a proper internet sensation! The guys are a bunch of mates who are out to prove that you can have a bit of fun in the kitchen and make delicious food at the same time! As you can imagine there is plenty of banter involved! Whether you're new to the kitchen or a pro, the lads have tonnes of recipe videos for dishes that are quick, simple and tasty too.

DJ BBQ: If you love all thing BBQ then this is the channel for you! Christian is a bit nuts in all the right ways- he’s a lover of hardcore outdoor cooking with big bold flavours. If you are planning some outdoor cooking in the run up to the summer then check out his videos. BBQ combined with a love of lycra jump suits- what’s not to love!

River Cottage: Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and the River Cottage gang have been around for over 15 years now and scour both land and sea in search of an alternative culinary lifestyle for YouTube. A great mix of simple little dishes and showstopper suppers. Not to be missed!

The Chiappa Sisters: Wales and Italy may not be two countries often associated with each other but the two countries are a match made in heaven when it comes to the Chiappa Sisters! Italian flavour, British style, food and family all go hand and hand with these three Welsh-Italian sisters. The ladies know their pasta so make sure to check out their tutorial videos.
