3 Brilliant Juices

The health benefits of juices are unlimited thanks to the huge choice of different ingredients you can put in them. Here are 3 of my favourite combinations of flavours which can be enjoyed any time of the day.

  1. 1. Green Goblin Super Juice: (Makes 1 serving) Juices which are rich in green colour like this one are incredibly healthy and if you prefer you can pare back the sweetness by reducing the amount of apple in there recipe. Place one of the apples in the shoot of the juicer and top with the kale and spinach leaves. Add in the other apple creating a leafy green sandwich which will allow you to get the most juice from them and process. Add in the rest of the ingredients and continue to juice. Pour the rich green liquid over a glass filled with ice.

  2. 2. Apple, Carrot and Ginger Juice: (Makes 1 serving) Even if you have never tried a juice before, this one is bound to convince you that juices with vegetables can be incredibly delicious! Sweet, frothy and with a real zing of heat from the ginger this is properly delicious!Slice the vegetables to fit the juicers shoot and process them through. Pour the frothy orange liquid over ice to serve. If you want more heat from the ginger, double the amount in the ingredients.

  3. 3. Super Cleansing Juice: (Makes 1 serving) Definitely one for the more advanced juicers out there, but don’t be put off with apple and carrot as the base there is great sweetness and a powerful citrus twist from a small slice of lemon. Slice the vegetables to fit the juicers shoot and process them through. Serve the vibrant purple juice straight away.

Green Goblin Super Juice:

2 green apples

1 large handful of baby leaf spinach

1 small handful of kale

2.5cm slice of cucumber

1 lime

Apple, Carrot and Ginger Juice:

2 apples

2 carrots

3cm slice of fresh ginger

Super Cleansing Juice:

2 apples

1 carrot

1 slice of lemon, with rind

¼ yellow bell pepper

5cm slice of cucumber

5cm  piece of celery

5cm slice of broccoli stem

5cm slice of raw beetroot
