Honey & Balsamic Halloumi Platter

January 08

A platter of sticky & sweet halloumi dressed with parsley and pine nuts makes a simple little starter that can be made in minutes.

  • serves Serves 4
  • time 10mins

Method

  1. 1. Place a non stick frying pan over a medium heat.
  2. 2. Fry the halloumi for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Frying in batches if the pan isn’t big enough to fit them all in at once. Return all the halloumi back to the pan if you do so.
  3. 3. Add the vinegar and honey to the pan, allow to coat the cheese and become sticky. Serve straight away to the table sprinkled with pine nuts and parsley, alongside the harissa hummus and pittas.
